There is absolutely no reason astronauts going to mars couldn't engage in written correspondence with others. And for that matter, they could talk among themselves. They would not be "alone" in any meaningful sense of the word, not as it relates to the psychological need for socialization.

That's more than plenty. Sailors have gotten less than this for millennia.

Storage for food, water, machinery, lab equipment and exercise would be shared. They'd obviously not give every man their own personal treadmill.

Hotbunking is a thing. Sailors don't always get their own bed. These astronauts probably would, if only because a sleeping bag doesn't take up much space anyway. But if they were really constrained on space, there is certainly no hard requirement that every man gets their own bed.

No, they haven't. Even tightly-packed submarines have on excess 40 m^3 per person. NASA has extensively studied this, and the claim that 25 m^3 per person is the absolute bare minimum needed for long-term space habitation.

My point is that 11 m^3 isn't just leg-room, but has to be enough to pack enough food and water per person for a nine month journey to Mars. That's just not enough short of suspended animation magic.

Submariners are not tightly packed sailors by historical standards. Furthermore, sailors do not have 40 m^3 of personal space. And if they are hotbunking, they don't get any at all.

Many sailors have starved to death. Even more have died of thirst.

Submarines are the best modern approximations we're going to find, since they're meant to go on long journeys, maximize space utilization, long-term habitability, etc. Comparing Starship to some 19th century frigate or ship of the line is a silly thing to do.

Hitting a domed ceiling wouldn't cause the spinning to slow like that, and the sound would be more of a "WHAM" instead of a "VVURR".
Also, if it hit a ceiling, why is the rocket still pointed straight upwards after the supposed impact?
I'm not a rocket designer, but I think the sound was probably from reaction wheels to make the rocket stop rotating.
Pic related appeared after the supposed impact as well. Could it be from some kind of parachute or staging operation?
