Help a young anon out.
Is a statistics PhD worth it? Just graduated with Bachelors of Stats, minor in economics. Taking Masters at same school (Decent state school). I am hesitant of a career in academia, however I hear that A PhD in Stats goes further than that and opens many other career paths. I have heard from my advisor but for some reason I want to hear what you retards think. Is this true?
