Tell me if I’m out of my league. But why does this get so much engineering acclaim?
>You already know the rocket equation.
> You how much thrust you need to deliver the payload to orbit.
> Rocketdyne builds the F1 and J2 engines.
Put it all together in three stages, a flame deflector, and hold down arms and launch. What about this was so monumental or difficult? Could any engineering graduates not have designed and built this thing?
