..Why don't we just clone humans en masse instead of using femoids for reproduction? I don't understand why we can't just do that.

We would need a SIGNIFICANT depopulation event to occur while still retaining technological advancement. I took a holiday to france like 2 years ago and the amount of jobless browns """loitering"""" in groups was unreal compared to 5 years ago. hate to break it to you but
1) we still need the female host in order for the embryo clone to mature and
2) the genetic level issues with cloning adults are pretty bad - dolly the sheep displayed signs of aging at birth. cloning kids could be done but is much more pointless
