I must say I feel great since the start of the pandemic. Put me in front of a PC, a book, a sheet of paper, I can find things to do for years without being bored.
Some of my friends are literally becoming insane and depressed because they can't go to the restaurant or on vacation abroad.

I had a work meeting today and someone said "I know we're all dying to get back to the office" and it made me irrationally angry.
If I could quantitatively measure my sentiment each day and average it over the last year, this has probably been the most enjoyable year of my life.

I see people exclaim in newspapers that they are dying to go to pubs/restaurants/gyms/whatever and seemingly fail to realise that this will indeed make them die. And it could lead to new mutations that are even worse. So it is more like there is a strong selection against extroverts. This, combined with a rumoured up to 60 percent long covid, means this will have a long lasting impact at least 30 years ahead.

I live alone, been WFH for over a year now, and life is good. When my colleagues telephone me the conversations with the more extrovert ones tend to be over an hour.

Ive made Friends before but i get bored and exhausted very quickly. Im happier and more productive when im alone. I just see my wife, 3 co workers and step that . Thats it. I know it sounds a bit s o y but im happier this way. Most people are energy vampires.
