It's the worst form of math.

I loved groups, I loved rings, fields/galois was cringe and gay, but I loved homological algebra so it was all worth it in the end.

Aren't fields just "regular" algebra? I have not taken an abstract algebra course... That's not to say that regular algebra isn't garbage of course.
