At what age did you realize that most of what you study at university/college is just gatekeeping?

All these math equations and formulas or other things that you will never use in daily life let alone on most jobs.

You complain that universities don't teach exactly the skills you'll need in every job there is, you identify that since you need an X degree for Y field and you don't use all that X teaches you, X is gatekeeping Y.

Too bad X does not map exactly to Y and you suck at maths.
