You may be able to understand what's happening at the moment, and achieve far greater enjoyment from it than you could at smaller speeds, but you are going to remember almost none of that. Also, increased enjoyment may fuck up your dopamine, switches from higher to lower speeds (so from watching to real life) may induce a headache. This may be somewhat positive, since doing this will eventually induce you towards reducing all manners of entertainment, so as to avoid headaches. All of it will eventually prompt you toward spending almost all of your time on things that require intense mental engagement. As such, last time I have felt really happy was when doing Number Theory.
