>>12875750>People were called "Women"No?
Man is derived from old english mann, which means person.
Woman in old english was just a married female, but is also derived from a germanic word that means female.
Yes there were gender non specific terms, but people confuse those terms usage. As the gender non specific terms would refer to someone generally, rather than specifically to their gender. As there were virtually no "gender fluid people" and hence the term wasn't used to refer to someone specifically, that claims they don't identify with that.
Usually when you use the term man or woman, you are not directly talking to the person, unless being derogatory.
So gender non-specific terms would have been used much like "They". I think I can remember that there were words used to refer to objects rather than a person.
>In reality, the term is just a social constructNot exactly sure when this change occurred. But at some point the term woman became distinctly associated with a biological female. What we're really arguing over is definitions.
Something being a social construct means nothing, as you could classify nearly anything human as being partly or wholly a social construct.
This is not to say that someone can't dress and pretend to be a woman. But the act doesn't make this true. And I would seriously consider changing that lifestyle as it purely driven by their sexual desires, which doesn't make someone happy it's only short term gratification.
Change your behavior before you are just another statistic.
