What's the worst lab accidents you've seen/experienced? I have a couple.

My freshman year of college I cut myself with a scalpel that I was using to process cartilage samples of sheep that had a prion disease. It wasn't brain tissue so I just rinsed it out with ethanol.

A few months ago I was pumping 1M NaOH through a filter. The container I was pumping from was empty and the pump ran a bit longer which pressurized the filter with air. When I removed the pump from the tubing, some NaOH sprayed out and I got misted in the face. Didnt get my eyes but I did have to rinse it off my forehead.
