What's the true value of a CS degree?

How useful is a computing degree to someone with work experience?

Be me
> Sperg out in early teens and get good at coding
> Get a web development job at a small company
> Start an IT Software degree at a remote university
> Spend a few years wageslaving, getting promoted to £50k/year ($69k/year)
> About halfway through the final year, getting good grades but loathing every second of it
> At a point where the only time I can get myself to sit down and do the work is when I'm high
> Coursework is the only thing that's on my mind so I start to procrastinate on other things
> Job performance starts to suffer
> Depression is starting to kick in, coughrona lockdowns aren't helping

What do I do anon? Is a degree worth this torture?
Should I force myself through the next few months for a bit of paper that might someday help me find other employment and that will slightly elevate my social status or just give up and let all the hard work up until now go to waste?
