I bring up this one particular example for a reason: verbal IQ is the one type of IQ that continues to improve throughout your entire lifespan. You are never past your peak when it comes to writing. So even if you suck at it today, this is something you can work on and improve at, if you want to.
As far as wanting to goes... learning to work hard and have the right mindset... you might need therapy or a major life change.
There are many things that might hold you back. Being in a field that you don't believe in, trying to learn things that you think are useless, working for assholes, having loser friends. Or simply living in a norther climate with Season Affective Disorder. Take an honest assessment of your life. Talk to a therapist to get a perspective from someone who isn't a total asshat. Maybe read Jordan Peterson's books. Then make a change.
