>>12871118My best guess is that you'd not only have dramatically more deaths, multiples of what we've already seen, but you'd have people getting sick from it more than once, and the cumulative effects of being sick with it would either wreck them permanently, or kill them outright. Hospitals and medical organizations would fall apart from the overflow of sick people, unable to cope with the load.
Meanwhile entire national economies would collapse due to so many sick people for so long. Not enough well people to keep everything running. People losing jobs, being evicted whether they're sick or well, dying in the streets, literally.
Apocalypse, basically.
