I always want to be an aerospace engineer but was too dumb and failed the class in middle school. Now I am a 28 y/o hopeless NEET.

Just enroll in a college and start doing the work.
In four years with dedication, you'll be an engineer. Pro-tip: Study mechanical instead and take the courses relevant to aerospace as electives. You'll be more employable if the aerospace market is weak when you graduate.

i feel you anon, i'm 26 unemployed thinking about going to uni for a 3 year cs degree (uni is almost free where i live) but i don't know if i'm smart enough for it... took some online iq tests in english (i'm italian) and got anywhere from 93 to 127. tried to do some programming to see if i'm good enough and started with C since that's what rodditors told me i should try first... it was ez pz but when it came to stuff like recursion or linked lists i had a tough time... i managed to do the exercises but took me a long fucking time to make it work. Being average intelligence fucking sucks...

I started med school when I was in my middle thirties, with wife and kids. When the times were hard I got a amazon warehouse job and studied biochemistry and physiology while pushing the carts. in junior year of EE and failing every test.
Every test I am at least 15 points below the class average.
Also can't get an internship to save my life.
If I have to go back to unloading trucks for a living I will just kill myself.
