Sup /sci/. I'm a PhD student in Chemistry currently taking a Quantum Mechanics seminar for MS Physics students where we talk about different phenomena in quantum mechanics (ex. quantum zeno effect, quantum monte carlo, etc.) and often times the discussion of Quantum Field Theory comes up. The only background that I have is the Quantum class that I took in undergrad (chemistry/physics BS) and p chem, so I really have no clue what the fuck is going on any time QFT is mentioned. I'm still going to pass and shit, but I'm more concerned about knowing what the fuck I am looking at whenever a diagram is pulled up that involves QFT.
Are there any textbooks that you guys find decent for QFT? Or any general readings/publications that you found to be pretty handy/insightful? I haven't taken any classes on GR.
