First, it's still unknown if QM implies the possibility of true randomness
Second, despite crackpot ideas from Penrose and a few others, there's no evidence or good reason to believe QM plays a special role in higher intelligence, consciousness, or sapience. It's certainly plausible and may take centuries to rule out, but there's nothing pointing in that direction now
Third, whether the true source of your thoughts, actions, and motivations are random or deterministic, free will seems inconsistent. If you do stuff due to random reasons, that's not free. If you do stuff due to pre-determined chains of events, that's also not free
The only question is what kind of freedom do we have, if any, since we have to throw out any pure, fundamental, root-level freedom
