Stick to the classics, Ahlfors has a lot of great parts to it, and Rudin's Real and Complex Analysis covers everything you need to know in only 400 pages (sounds like a lot but it's concise and easy to jump around in). If you're serious you'll need to have encountered everything in these books anyway regardless what area of mathematics you like or you'll have gaps in your knowledge.
