The main cause of young male virginity is dating apps.
Few people form relationships by initially meeting in real life any more, so men are selected by women using their extremely superficial dating profiles.
This rewards men who are superficially attractive and very invested in dating.
Men who are not attractive, or who aren't that interested in courtship rituals, are no longer able to meet women through ordinary social situations like work, education, social organisations or hobbies.
In those real life situations, the attributes of these men beyond mere good looks could be shown and the men weren't competing with thousands of other men for attention.
There are other reasons as well: pornography, lower fertility rate and a move away from early marriage. But I suspect dating apps are the most obvious one.
