- become a professor
-work in a lab
-go to med school
Good paying lab jobs are hard to come by. With regards to Europe, as. Greek person who attends College in the United States, it depends what you want.
If you go for instance, Greece, quality of life is pretty decent for STEM ppl, but finding a job is hard. Most Greeks leave Greece with good degrees because they can’t find work, so as a foreigner you are at a disadvantage. Same thing really for Germany, Italy and Eastern Europe.
With a Biochem degree you have more work opportunity and it’s a more sought after degree. Also you can’t go wrong with Medschool. I’m in a similar position as you, and after research and talking to my school, I wouldn’t settle on just a regular bio degree
