I never took either of those, but I imagine it depends entirely on how "good" you are at math at the moment. My recommendation is to take a practice test online and see how you do.

I took a practice test for the GED, then spent about three hours working on some of the problems I found difficult. If you were a decent student in high school, then you shouldn't have much trouble passing.

Also, I took a practice test on Khan Academy, scored around a 1350. Missed two questions on the writing portion, didn't do so well on the math portion, but it's been a decade since I took a math course. The current SAT is a bit of a joke.
