Any physiology anons here can care to explain how tf does your index finger proximal phalange even out with your middle finger proximal phalange when positioned on the metacarpal table top position? I have absolutely no idea how tf that works if your index finger (bone structural wise) is SHORTER than your middle finger- pic related,

Figure B = finger positioning is normal
Figure E (table top position) = index is now on equal positioning as middle

Try doing figure E on your own and you'll see what i mean.
