So if the patterns found within some plant's leaves is pretty close to the golden ratio are there other ratios that can be found in spiral patterns in nature and if so what properties of a material might they be related to? Like take for instance this radar image caused by interference. Is there a material that when laid over a weather radar might produce this pattern or one similar to it?
