if its chain rule how did you get the x^2??
shouldnt the inside function (a^2 -x^2 in this case) become 2a - 2x?

Hey while we're at it, how the fuck do I integrate 1/sqrt(x^2-5)?
The 5 is stopping me from using trig substitution nicely, and I can't see any nice u-substitutions.
