Brainlet here. How the fuck do I understand studies? Is there some book I can read to understand what these commonly used variables mean and the jargon used in studies specifically. Do I just have to learn statistics and I will get it all?

when I find conflicting information I don't know what to do because I don't understand studies. For example why do people on /sci/ keep saying brain size doesn't correlate with IQ if studies say otherwise? are these studies wrong?
