You think that the limitations of Science make your ability to influence reality weaker but it in fact is the opposite. The beauty in the limits of the scientific method is that the black swan event is always possible. There is never a reason to believe it can't happen. You might think there is safety in the comfort of a predictable pattern but the black swan event doesn't have to be evil it can be a wonderful thing for the world. There is never a reason to think things are hopeless because the things telling you it is hopeless are not even capable of saying that to you.
