Hello /sci/.

Earlier today I saw a bunch of of trails in the sky above my city. The type that tin foils would call chemtrails, and more reasonable people contrails.Some went this way, others that way and most notably some zig zagged. Besides these trails the sky was perfectly clear. What logical explanation could there be for these?
I'm mostly ignorant on the subject and can perfectly accept the logic in the idea that they are contrails, but in this case what with the zig zagging, I just can't wrap my head around it and would be grateful if any of you science nerds could explain it.
