Is it possible that SSRIs are just placebo?
I mean, if studies compare SSRIs to a sugar pill placebo, then that doesn't really work, since you do actually feel some side effects from the SSRI, that could make the placebo effect stronger.
SSRIs also aren't that much more effective than the sugar pill. And most of the anti depresant studies published have major conflict of interest.
