Does anyone else here wish that they had a victorian mansion and a secret underground lab below it? This has always been my fantasy and I will never truly be happy without it. Luckily I am intelligent enough to become wealthy so my dream actually is a possibility. I am currently a university student studying computer science and plan on going into machine learning as a career. Doing so will allow me to actually use my mathematical skills in my work rather than become a CAD/spreadsheet monkey like other types of "engineers" so that my scientific aptitude doesn't perish. ML jobs pay more than six figures on average which will definitely help me in my aspiration of creating a secret underground bunker. AI careers pay very high salaries because they are in high demand and most people are too scared of math to pursue them.
