according to what is 1 not a prime?

i am currently writting a prove and i need to leave out the chance that 1 is a prime.
What is a good sentence or something to say 1 is not a prime.
is there any theorem that can be used where i just say "we know 1 is not a prime because theorem xy"?

Because a prime makes a separate structure like 1×5 is 11111.

So a prime number is just casually understood as structure like that line.

That's an avenue. Idk about other treatments

It is not a proof, OP. It is a convention. There is a theorem that proves that any integer can be represented as a _unique_ product of primes. If 1 is prime, then you can multiply by how many one's you may wish, thus not being an unique representation.
