Haloperidol makes you not having them.

They are neurosterol receptors. They identify various kind of substances and react differently to each identified chemical.

They are responsible for being social, working out, simillar things.

I've been on sertraline for 7 months and, while my depression and anxiety are certainly much better, I believe I' definitely feeling the effects of the inhibition of dopaminergic functions. For that reason I'm thinking of adding in an NDRI like bupropion or something - does that make sense pharmacologically speaking or am I looking in the wrong place?

I've always loved psychedelics, but I absolutely hate how they've become meme bullshit with "psychonaut" retards spouting faulty analyses and exaggerated "benefits".
For example, the john's hopkins depression study with psilocin was interesting. It was NOT, however, proof that shrooms cure depression.
At this point, I don't think any psychedelic is going to break into the mainstream pharmacopeia. Not because "the man" is keeping them down, but just because they aren't as useful as people say, and even when they are useful they aren't reliable.
Now opioids... those are the real redpill but nobody is ready for that conversation yet.
Remember lads, it always comes back to oxytocin.

It wouldn't enhance cocaine because by displacing cocaine from the dopamine and norepinephrine transporters bupropion would just inhibit reuptake without promoting release of corresponding neurotransmitters, which oftenly isn't enough to produce euphoria.
And, while we're at that, bupropion itself as a molecule is mostly irrelevant in the drug's pharmacological action. Its metabolite, hydroxybupropion, however, has an 8 times higher AUC than its precursor and is responsible for most of bupropion's effects. The problem with it is its low affinity towards the DAT compared to NET which limits its abuse potential.

Sorry for the retard question here. Can someone tell me how LSD works? More specifically if body weight is a factor? My understanding is that it flows through your blood and attaches to neurons in your brain. Would a huge fat person just take longer to feel the effects, or would they also need more LSD to get high? Thank you.

literally any psychoactive drug does this (btw they attach to receptors, not the neuron itself). and LSD does this by attaching to your 5HT2A receptors which are serotonin receptors mainly distributed in prefrontal cortex pyramid cells.
