Got the vaccine, moderna. Same symptoms as my GF who got J&J and a few friends and coworkers who got Pfizer:
-sore arm
-at least one sleepness night and the feeling of a cold coming on
Everyone had 1 sleepless night. Other symptoms seemed to vary
I went out and did a fuckton of manual labor the day after getting the vaccine, got the chill you get when you have the flu that same night (sweating but still feel cold), was sleepless, but then next day was totally fine.
I love all the people ITT screaming about how the vaccine is causing ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS and then flip around and apply the double-standard to covid of "oooo they are just saying that covid killed the person even though they got shot, but the vaccine? No they definitely died from the vaccine"
The vaccine is far less lethal than covid in any age range using whatever comparable metric you want. It's not even close.

What risk? The risk is about as great as me driving to get dunkin donuts or go out for a night of binge drinking. I don't have second thoughts about those. There is no real risk. The risk of covid is so many order-of-magnitude greater than the vaccine that it literally doesn't make sense why you would risk covid when you could just get the vaccine and avoid that unnecessary risk.

correct, i wrote that. that comes from me browsing lots of vaccines studies over time. every single one I read had SAE rates around 0.01%. nobody has ever provided a single study on SAEs in vaccines that refutes this. i haven't found any either.

the only pseudo-response i get is that the Pfizer and other vaccine trials had about 50k participants. with an SAE rate of about 0.01, that corresponds to approximately 5 expected SAEs. i wouldn't be surprised by any number ranging from 0-10 in the original study, which is what the study reflects. now that they're administered in large scale, we see similar rates.

that's about 95k reactions from Pfizer in the UK out of about 11 million vaccines administered. that corresponds to about 0.009%. wow, who would have thought. even if you're a bit stricter and use only the 33k that passed to report status, that's still about 0.003%, which is honestly a bit on the lower end compared to what i usually see.

Nothing against vaccines in general or this one specifically but I don't see any reason to take time out of my day to get it. Just like I've never in my life bothered getting a flu shot. Plus there's the thing where the same psychos trying to force it on us have proven themselves completely untrustworthy in a hundred other contexts and are the reason half the planet has been under house arrest for a year, and the thing where participating in the vaccine will indirectly assist the 'vaccine passport' shit.

Well if you claim every death truly was from either the vaccine or COVID-19, then that makes COVID-19 anywhere from 100 to 1000 times more dangerous than the vaccine.
