>>12837143>This doesn't make sense to me. God created us, and since we were created in his image, we have a limited ability to create as well (within the boundaries allowed by physical law).I don't agree. Man created God in his image, but even if we didn't, one is still left to ask what created our Creator. (Munchhausen trilemma). However I do agree, Man is not a Creator, nor is he truly capable of creation. This is a great delusion of the modern world, man today cannot create anymore than the Roman could create water when he built to aqueducts.
>Don't think we can create god so can't answer this question. You can create systems, machines,a nd artificial environments, which have all the attributes of God. See eg Brave New World, or better yet, Ergo Proxy.
>For most of recorded history this has been the case.Even if there is God, and it is the same as the universe itself, you can locally thwart the "natural order" which arose from that mind.
>No and it's not possible. God already exists. Destroying God would be equivalent to ending the universe.Does God end with the universe, or with perception? I would think that God would perceive through all things, at all scales, and at all times, but perhaps it is not so.
