>>12836981unironically pomodoro helped me at first in uni when i wasn’t used to focusing. i know CS is a lot of technical actual work but for understanding conceptual stuff figure out what way you learn best — watching videos, reading textbooks? whatever you do make sure you’re learning actively. take notes on whatever you read, draw out diagrams so you’re sure you understand shit. being active like this made stuff way less boring to me really quick, let me get in a flow state where i could study for longer. don’t just passively read the textbook
