That cannot be real, the noise and the cosmic rays should differ. So the portion of the image which show the object is just a duplicate of the first one. It's not real. And the claims about missing data are also false. There is only a gap of an hour, which is not unusual for SOHO given it's 25 years of operation.
So the object only appears in a single image. It is totally absent from a second image taken just 6 minutes later. it probably isn't real.
