It's no coincidence that charisma is the most valuable trait in humans when we are extremely social animals, with literally thousands of social vocalizations, facial movements, body movements, etc. Humans are INSANELY social even when compared to other similar animals. Mammals in general are very social, but primates and humans go even beyond that. The only other animal group on Earth that even comes close are probably certain types of avian species.
If we ever meet aliens, humanities "stand out" characteristic will be our charisma and social ability. That's almost certainly what makes us "special," more than anything else.
