'Science' is characterized by the method used; in a lot of places that 'Science' is supposed to be taking places, it actually is not. So in that sense, what you're saying is true. You see a bunch of people, like medical doctors, walking around thinking they are 'men of reason', trying to rationalize what they see with what they already know...all because of this perception of scientific advancement in fields like physics. It's like they try to be prestigious by association without having any merit.
