Total reflection is lossless, even high energy laser radiation can be transmitted via optical fibers at 0% loss. If you have a long enough fiber, you could trap a pulse inside and splice both ends together. You would have no way of telling the energy content from the outside though, unless you bend/cut the fiber again. The question is, is there an energy limit to this. Maybe by multi-photon-absorption losses are possible
