I know it sucks but that is the reality. Teachers don't become teachers through online courses, right? Neither do doctors or accountants. Why do you think an online course that "isn't a meme" would work out for machine learning or a data analyst?
The only real answer is to practice that on your own time and go to school. If you need to eat now, get some shit job doing whatever for the money. Preferably something easy so you can focus on your actual studies in what you enjoy.
Also, work on a personal portfolio of shit. Set up a github or website or whatever and put everything you do on it. Make yourself look good.
Sorry that this isn't the answer you want, but it's the one you need. Don't waste your time paying for an online cert. Just use them for free to work on your skills and knowledge and use college for an actual degree.
