im close to finishing my masters degree in mecheng, but i dont have a specific branch that im especially interested in. i have good grades and all but i just cant see myself designing cars, planes whatever for the rest of my life. have i failed as an engineer and should i fully commit to that failure by doing a phd?
also did anyone here have the same problem at the end of his studies?
