STEM holds the loneliest most depressing fields.

>Spend your undergrad indoors studying and trying to learn while everyone around you parties and gets hammered
>Graduate research you spend grueling hours working for asshole advisors trying to solve problems
>Women only talk to you because they want you to do their work for them
>If you tell them to go away, the next guy just does her work instead
>Ridiculous misuse of funding everywhere you go, grant money spent on shit nobody even needs.
>Publications are littered with fudged numbers lies and bias.

Why did I choose this shit? I thought it would be satisfying math solving problems and lots of money.
Really all it did was fuck me up mentally with the stress and loneliness, and make me want to off myself.
