Two negative reals give you a positive real. The imaginary unit i is not a real number, that is not a member of a set R, not in your bullshit "reality" sense. In fact the complex numbers can't even be made into an ordered field, so the concept of positive or negative doesn't even apply. This is really basic shit, I don't get why brainlets are so scared of complex numbers.
