If you wanna work deeply you have to make it a habitual thing. Do things that get you into the state (eg exercise) then study after. Your brain will associate these 2 activities and you will start doing 1 after the other subconsciously eventually. It could be cleaning your desk,doing push-ups, meditating first... although Newport preaches going for long walks.
The other main part is to do it without any distractions. You won’t be able to do it for a long time at first but your capacity grows over time. It’s also impossible to work deeply 24/7, you are being more productive over a shorter amount of time.
