>>12824619With the amount of time, money, manpower, and resources we've wasted the last 50 years chasing the meaningless, impossible-to-achieve goal of treating every fucking human being on the planet like we're all equally intelligent, equally motivated, and equally capable we could have colonized the fucking solar system.
Some people and some groups just have no inherent aptitude for certain things. It's no different than the bullshit obsession colleges have with trying to force everyone to take "core classes" and "electives" in some retarded bid to make "well-rounded students". Billy the Organic Chemistry Major isn't going to gain anything from getting a C- in Film Theory. Janet the Art Major doesn't have the intelligence to pass College Physics. Stop expecting them to.
There was a report a few weeks ago out of a Baltimore school district that spends the third highest amount per student on education in the entire country and where most of the schools have average GPAs below 1.0. Some people can't learn, some people don't want to learn, stop wasting resources and manpower trying. If someone indicates zero interest or aptitude for learning by adolescence, just accept that the most they can strive for is mopping floors, grilling burgers, or cleaning dishes, throw some UBI and pot at them and call it a fucking life.
People are different. It's pointless to pretend you can apply the same standard to everyone. All that logic ends up doing is lowering the standard to the lowest common denominator.
