Is there any language that could exist where its education and dissemination would have negative net energy returns on its end-users?

Sort of like an easy to adopt but after the first year of using it the language lures people in with promises and then the language eats the user alive. Not psychologically, but maybe just because word choice and the expression set chosen would lure or guide the user into situations and circumstances that always go bad or wrong. Not like a curse but more like a pre-meditated language.
