Is the mathematics page of /sci/ wiki legit? for books, order of learning, etc. No disrespect to the Anons who dedicated their time to write it. But I'm idiot, and Anons tend to have strong opinions on everything. So I wanted to know whether it was /sci/ approved?

Read their free algebra books if you really need help with babby-tier stuff then go to Lang's Basic Mathematics instead of Openstax's Precalculus. Then read either Spivak's Calculus, Courant's Calculus or Apostol's Calculus and follow up whichever one you chose with Linear Algebra Done Right.
After that you can explore to your heart's content although I recommend looking at analysis and abstract algebra first.

Why not? I've not looked into Spivak, but I didn't have problems with Zorich as a mediocore highschool mather.

Is pic related actually good? I've studied up to calc 3 thru Professor Chad Leonard's videos but I actually never practiced or looked deep into the math on my own. Was thinking of reviewing calc 1/2/3 and then learning (basic and advanced) linear algebra.
And if these textbooks are actually good, then which of these should I pick up after linear algebra?

Zorich is much friendlier and fleshed out than Spivak though. Even if it goes well beyond a first calculus course.

Face the truth OP, you are never going to read those books. You are going to download the pdf and never look at it.

It you want to learn mathematics for real start solving problems. So for example start doing ProjectEuler or start programming, make your own game. Make your own graphics engine write a ray tracer. Do somethig instead of pretending you are going to change your life.

Just do this chart. It's the only /sci/ chart that isnt a meme. The other ones posted in this thread contain way to many preliminaries, and you're gonna spend 100s of hours just working with uninteresting trivial stuff, that doesnt even challenge you too much. If you go through this chart you'll be better at math than even most stem graduates.

Only tangentially related to the thread but I'm also basically a hs drop out (tested out junior year). I'm gonna be starting at a cc in the fall and my plan is to learn as much math as I can on my own while there so I can be as prepared as possible. I got a 5 on the ap calc bc exam and I'm currently going through Linear Algebra Done Right. What else should I prioritize learning to help me get as far ahead as possible. I'm not planning on self teaching ODEs since my cc offers it and every textbook on it is like 800 pages.

Well I have to do 2 years of gen ed but they only have 3 higher level math classes (Multivar, ODE, and LA) I already know Multivar and (some) LA so I'm planning on just knocking out all 3 math courses asap then self study as much math as I can so I can be as prepared as possible for when I start real undergrad.

What I'm asking is what subjects should I prioritize studying while doing my gen ed bullshit classes. I also have until august to self study before I enroll in my cc. My current plan is to finish LA then review Calc then study some basic analysis if I have time.

noooooooooooooooooo you won't. this chart is aimed at graduate students.
You might be able to do the analysis series I'm not sure I haven't looked into those books too much but I promise jumping straight from pre cal into any of these books is a recipe for disaster
