I was educated in metric but since living in the USA I have noticed that Imperial increments are more adapted to our capacity to gauge. A cm is really small, an inch is more “comfy” for lack of a better word. Same with fluid oz vs cL and lb vs kilo. It actually makes sense since Imperial increments evolved to suit human experience but metric was all arbitrarily decided based on 1/16th of the earths diameter, decimal and the weight of water, with a contrived coherence.
Thoughts?
