I know people like you and I are different than the majority of humanity. We are the minority. The sociopaths are also a minority. Most of humanity are lemmings.
I don't identify with the people who are responsible for these things, but I do identify the fact we are the same species. I'm not sure how you can deny that these are things the species does en masse.
I haven't been conned to do these things or identify with them. Enough of the herd, however, has. I'm an outlier, you are also an outlier. Denying that these people are the same species, or that enough of them participate to make it a widespread behavior of humanity accomplishes nothing. It is only by facing these dark facts that a proper plan of action can be constructed.
Either people like you and I somehow manage to take control of the narrative from the sociopaths that brainwash the lemmings into sick acts, or we sit by in anguish as the lemmings are herded into torturing one another for the amusement of the only other group of humans that sees the situation clearly.
