Hey /sci/ is it illegal or w/e to research stuff like how nuclear power plants work?
I tried googleing the legality of this and it just floods me with "Did trump give away our nuclear secrets to Russia?!?!"

I've really enjoyed reading about nuclear fission but I always notice there are key points of the process that are just glanced over without any detail. I'll be reading and the book will go into great detail about everything then we get to UO2 and it just says we turn it into UF6 and use that without saying how.
Is some of this stuff top secret or are the people writing just skipping the boring stuff?
