>>12814743Apart from the fact that there are no sources to the data, there are too many unknowns to draw a definitive conclusion: How is molestation defined? What constitutes a victim of child molestation? It could very well be that gays commit more of the minor stuff on boys while fewer straight pedos commit the grossly horrifying stuff on girls. Are same-sex predators more likely to get called out? Are male victims more likely to speak up than female ones? Is that ratio flipped for female predators?
96% of KNOWN child molesters are male. There may be a large number of unreported / undetected cases of straight women molesting boys. Remember the thing where women on average are a lot less likely to be prosecuted for the same crimes as men and that they are a lot more likely to be let off lightly relative to men (i.e. not get classified as a child molester)?
Additionally, female predators might not be as nonchalant as male ones, wanting to but not having the balls (heh) to do it. There might be an entire subgroup of women who are just waiting for an opportunity to molest a boys.
Moreover, one could argue that a boy molested by a woman is on average a lot less traumatized than a boy molested by a man. I'm also pretty sure that most male kindergarten teachers (where the gender ratio alone is indicative of a bias) kissing little boys on the cheek will face a disciplinary meeting or even termination, while females ones doing it probably won't even be accused of misconduct.
Also the 1-3% number is way too low. I imagine there are lots of closet gays/bisexuals, so I'd say 5-10%. There's not even a figure for how many male pedophiles are gay, just a population statistic. I don't think pedos constitute the norm.
