I read this book by a sci fi author about the evolution of man called Evolution and one of the early homo sapien women has a psychotic break after losing her child. Then she develops schizophrenia. She murders her aunt who she suspected of killing the child somehow and sets up a cult surrounding the bones of her dead child and everyone is too afraid to fuck with her cause she is just levels behind the connections she made , right or wrong. Like early humans wouldn't be able to conceptualize that maybe someone killed their baby, or someone killed that animal, or that it was they and not their spear thar actually killed the animal they threw it at , they just see it's dead, until schizos taught them how to do that. And also art and paintings as representation of real animals and people. Basically she became the leader of the tribe , decided what kind of sacrifices to be made , even who was allowed to breed with who
